The holiday accommodation is located in the private wing of our villa and has a private entrance.
The 10m x 4m swimming pool* is a heated saltwater pool* (Bayrol automatic Salt AS7)
The property is completely fenced and overlooks the surrounding hills.
The picturesque village of Prayssas (Village de caractère!) is within walking distance*.
*Walking distance from the holiday accommodation to Prayssas:A little 10-15 minute walk along a shady country lane.
Various marked hiking, cycling and mountain bike trails with beautiful views run along our estate.
The accommodation is ideal for couples or families who want to spend a quiet holiday in beautiful surroundings.
The holiday accommodation has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, 1 bathroom with a shower and a bath, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a flat-screen TV, etc.
Upon arrival, the bed(s) in the holiday accommodation are already made and 2 regular towels & 1 bath towel per person are provided per bedroom.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a sink, an induction hob (4 heating zones), an extractor hood, a microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment, a kettle, a Senseo coffee machine and all kinds of kitchen utensils (cutlery, plates & cups, glasses, etc.).
The guests' private terrace overlooks the garden and the surrounding hills.
The holiday accommodation is 100% non-smoking and is ideally located for those looking for a comfortable, clean and quiet holiday accommodation in a very peaceful rural setting with many views.

The 10m x 4m swimming pool is a heated saltwater pool (Bayrol automatic Salt AS7).
As soon as the weather conditions are suitable for swimming, we set the pool's water temperature to 28°C.
It is a lap pool (not a paddling pool!).
Our guests have exclusive access to the pool between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM; outside these hours, the pool can also be used by the owners.
* There is no supervision; use of the pool is at your own risk!
Swimming Pool Rules (Shared use with the Owners)
❗ Strict Hygiene Regulations:
We absolutely do not want any oil in our pool, so we kindly request that you always shower before entering.
The pool's salt electrolysis system not only removes chlorine from the saltwater but also measures the redox potential to ensure a constant disinfectant level.
This salt electrolysis system must therefore be 100% free of grease to ensure it continues to function perfectly and to prevent pathogens from developing in the pool water.
For water quality, safety, and the proper functioning of the filter system, the following dress code applies to all users (guests and owners):
Swimwear permitted in the water:
Standard swimwear: swim trunks (tight fit), one-piece swimsuit, bikini, monokini, or nude.
Not permitted in the water (for hygienic reasons):
All loose, baggy, or long clothing: T-shirts, cotton clothing, streetwear, and (long) baggy swim shorts.
Headscarves (hijabs), hats, or other clothing worn outside the pool are strictly prohibited in the water.
Specific Note:
Clothing worn outside the pool area (e.g., on the street, beach, or in the garden) introduces unacceptable amounts of fibers, sand, and dirt into the pool.
For the reasons stated above, burkinis and other non-standard swimwear that covers the entire body are not permitted, ensuring that only specific, waterproof swimwear does not contaminate the water.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the hygiene of our shared pool.
* Glass objects in the pool area are strictly prohibited for obvious reasons.
❗ Failure to comply with the above house rules will result in us closing the pool for the remainder of your stay!
* If our swimming pool cannot be used due to a technical problem during a booked stay between May 1st and November 1st, we will refund €10/day/guest for the days on which guests were unable to swim.
Prayssas-village: Village with character!
This typical French village ("Village de caractère") is within *walking distance of the holiday accommodation and offers all the facilities to allow you to enjoy a comfortable holiday without having to drive long distances to stock up on supplies or relax (as is usually the case if you stay in one of the many surrounding villages).
*Walking distance: Just a 10-15 minute walk along a shady country lane will take you from the holiday accommodation to the village centre of Prayssas.

- The Bar L'estanquet, ideally located in the centre of the village on the shady square, is friendly, modern and lively (concert, karaoke...) and offers local and artisanal products (beers, lemonade, Gascon cola).
- A crêperie “La Bastide ST LOUIS”, with internet facilities
- There is a medical centre & a pharmacy
- The bank "Credit Agricole"

- A Renault garage & a garage for all brands "Bouchou".
- A charging station for electric cars can be found at "Parking 2" behind "La Halle au Chasselas" with the Tourist Info Centre & Auditorium de Prayssas.
The parking number 2 has 150 shaded parking spaces under solar panels.
This car park also has containers for household waste which are available free of charge to the population as well as to tourists.

Prayssas is described as a "village of character"
Every Sunday morning, a farmers' market is held in Prayssas where you can buy delicious tender meat from the mobile butcher.
There are also stalls with seasonal fruit, vegetables & cheese, honey and much more.
Truffle markets are organised in the autumn and winter period.
On the occasion of these truffle markets, the municipality of Prayssas regularly offers free samples, which many residents enjoy as tourists.
From the beginning of July to the end of August, evening markets are held in Prayssas and the surrounding villages with a wide variety of local dishes.
You will always be surprised by the rousing music of various bands or DJs.

Here you will find a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a train station.
There are regular trains to destinations such as Bordeaux, Paris and Toulouse.
The main weekly market days are Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Another large town (Villeneuve-sur-Lot) is 21 km away.

The old medieval town of Pujols a 'Plus Beaux Villages de France' is 20 km away. Situated on a limestone cliff at an altitude of over 180 m overlooking the Lot and Mail valleys.
The centre is built around a market square, the pedestrian streets are lined with half-timbered houses. Within the ramparts you can see the remains of the castle tower.
There is a weekly Sunday market, selling a variety of fresh products.
