We realize the house rules below may seem rather strict at first glance,
but we're convinced you would expect the same from your guests
should they come to your home for a holiday.

Important notice before you take the Gîte into use
on the day of your arrival:
Please check the Gîte completely for any damage or deficiencies
upon arrival and before actually moving in.
In the event of damage or deficiencies,

From the moment you actually take the Gîte into use, you confirm to us that the Gîte is free of damage
and that the Gîte has no deficiencies, except for the points you previously reported to us in your e-mail.

To ensure tranquility in and around our Gite, we specifically target an adult audience.
Upon arrival, the bed(s) will already be made up
and 2 regular towels & 1 bath towel will be provided per person.

🏊 Swimming pool (Bayrol Automatic Salt AS7):
Our guests have exclusive access to our private pool between 14:00-18:00.
Outside these hours the pool can also be used by the owners.
There is no supervision of the pool!
👉 Glass objects are strictly prohibited in the pool area for obvious reasons.
👉 To avoid attracting wasps, please do not bring candy, food, or sugary drinks to the pool or its surroundings.
👉 The pool is a "lane pool" (no paddling pool!) and may only be used for swimming in peace.
* We absolutely do not want any grease in our pool,
so we kindly request that you always shower before entering!
🏊 Swimming Pool Regulations (Shared Use with the Owners)
❗ Strict Hygiene Regulations:
The pool's salt electrolysis system not only produces chlorine from the saltwater,
but also measures the redox potential to ensure a constant disinfectant level.
This salt electrolysis system must therefore be 100% free of grease
to ensure the system continues to function perfectly
and to prevent pathogens from developing in the pool water.
For water quality, safety, and the proper functioning of the filter system,
the following dress code applies to all users (guests and owners):
🏊 Swimwear permitted in the water:
Standard swimwear: swim trunks (tight fit), swimsuit, bikini, monokini, or nude.
Swimwear NOT permitted in the water (for hygienic reasons):
All loose, baggy, or long clothing: T-shirts, cotton clothing, streetwear, and (long) baggy swim shorts.
Headscarves (hijabs), hats, or other clothing worn outside the pool are strictly prohibited in the water.
Specific Note:
Clothing worn outside the pool (e.g., on the street, at the beach, or in the garden)
introduces unacceptable amounts of fibers, sand, and dirt into the pool.
For the reasons mentioned above, burkinis and other non-standard swimwear that covers the entire body
are not permitted to ensure that only specific, waterproof swimwear does not pollute the water.
❗If you fail to comply with the above house rules,
we will be forced to close the pool for the remainder of your stay!

If needed, extra bed linen & towels can be rented at the following rates:
> Extra set of bed linen (1 bedroom): € 10 per set of 2 bed sheets & 2 pillowcases
> Extra set of towels (per person): € 5 per set of 2 regular towels & 1 bath towel

Washing machine, incl. soap: € 10 per wash

An electric BBQ & a plancha are available to our guests for free at the outdoor kitchen.

The toilet is connected to a septic tank
and therefore only easily soluble toilet paper may be thrown in.
Even though the packaging sometimes states that the material is biodegradable,
the bacteria in the septic tank have the greatest difficulty breaking it down.
So definitely do not throw sanitary towels, tampons, wet wipes, toilet rolls,
paper tissues or other items in this toilet please!

Use of the equipment in the Gîte:
The tenants are responsible for the correct use of all the facilities in the Gîte,
including the air conditioning, heating, etc.

Please do not hang wet towels on doors and other furniture.
The wood absorbs the water, after which the wood expands and the paint peels off.
* There are more than enough drying racks available in the bathroom and also outside.

Final cleaning:
The tenants must leave the Gîte in a reasonable condition.
The kitchen must be tidy and the dishes washed.
Remove all rubbish from the Gîte and take it to the municipal waste disposal site
in the centre of Prayssas, which is located at "Parking nr. 2".
"Parking nr. 2" is the large parking in the city center with parking spaces under the solar panels.
(This car park also has charging stations for electric vehicles)
The final cleaning of the gîte is included in the rental price.

Respect for property and the environment:
The tenants must respect the property and the environment, refrain from behaviour that is harmful or disruptive to the neighbours and comply with local legislation.

Responsibility:
The tenants are liable for any damage to the Gîte
and its contents during their stay.
